Students thrill at Performing Arts Festival

Clunes Public School students excelled at the recent Lismore Performing Arts Festival held over 3 nights at the Lismore Workers Club.

Our students participated in the

• Small Schools' Choir which is a combined choir of approximately 120 students from up to 20 small local schools who practice at their own schools and come together to practise only a couple of times prior to the festival;
• Combined Band which has participants from a variety of local schools who again practice with their school music teachers and only come together 3 times prior to their performance on stage; and
• Clunes School dance item which was a very energetic Hip Hop dance item choreographed by Jess Sharp and practiced diligently at school under the guidance of Miss Jenner.
